For the Kalbarri National Park Tour we will be staying 1 night in Geraldton and night 2,3 and 4 will be at the same accommodation in Kalbarri National Park. For those who opt for the hotel accommodation a 3.5 to 4.5 star hotels and inclusive apartments will be made available while those who opt for the more traditional camping accommodation will have complete camping facilities with power.
Itinerary for Kalbarri National Park Tour:
Day 1: Depart from Perth train station at 9 am sharp in our own luxury coach bus and head North to Geraldton. We will stop along the way in Lancelin, and Cervants to see the famous Pinnacle rock formations, and other picturesque locations for photo shoots where we can adjust our cameras to the lighting conditions and environment. Your guide will be there to assist you with any technical questions you might have and help you to better understand photo composition and subject matter. Aft.er we round up our first day at our hotel in Geraldon or nearby camping ground.
Day 2: We depart our accommodations and continue north on our bus journey towards Kalbarri via the Hutt Lagoon salt lake, stopping for more photo opportunities before we reach our destination where we can drop off our bags and pitch our tents and take in our park surroundings for some more photo opportunities.
Day 3: Driving into the heart of the park we will arrive at 'Natures Window', an opportunistic location for any photographer to catch their friend or partner in the foreground with one of the most breathtaking backgrounds in Australia. After that we explore the park's famous canyon, have a swim in the Murchison river at the bottom of the gorge or hike along its red perimeter cliffs.
Day 4: Taking advantage of Kalbarri's dynamic coastal landscape we will hike along the Indian Ocean's edge visiting secluded beaches and surfers breaks taking advantage of more organic photographic moments.
Day 5: Departing our accommodations finally for our homeward trek our coach bus will travel southwards along the coastal highway allowing for optimal photography opportunities. Taking our time, we will make our way back to Perth, stopping occasionally for breaks to stretch our legs and shoot the landscape, wildlife and more before completing our tour.
*Tour costs are based on double room shares for hotel stays- A single day supplement is required for guests who require accommodation for only one person. The supplement is 10% of the total cost of the tour. Single room supplements are not required for camp ground accommodation.
